Millers Bowles Law attorneys Kate Miller and Brett Holladay volunteered for the North Carolina Bar Association’s 10th Annual 4ALL Statewide Service Day on Friday, March 3rd. 4ALL is an annual event where attorneys staff call centers statewide, including a site in Charlotte, to field calls from the public and answer various legal questions. WBTV broadcasts the event locally, along with other television stations throughout North Carolina running promos to raise public awareness of the ability to receive free legal advice.

At the Charlotte call center, graciously anchored out of WBTV’s studio, Kate and Brett served as Family Law Advisors to answer callers’ questions about North Carolina Family Law. Kate, as Board Certified Specialist in Family Law, also assisted other attorneys who do not practice family law with questions about her area of expertise. Throughout the day each assisted callers with questions about Divorce, Child Custody, Child Support, Post-Separation Support, Alimony, Equitable Distribution, and many other North Carolina Family Law issues. Other attorneys on site answered questions on criminal law, property, real estate, among other areas of law.

During the 10th Annual 4ALL Statewide Service Day, 562 licensed attorneys answered 9,900 calls throughout North Carolina. In Charlotte alone, volunteer attorneys assisted more than 1,500 callers this year. Miller Bowles Cushing is proud to have been a part of the event.
